This project works with Joe Liberatore, who is a representative from Western Area Power Administration (WAPA). The focus is to gain experience with Siemens Power System Simulation for Engineers (PSS/E) software to perform system studies. Then facilitate the EE461 lab section by utilizing the PSS/E labs created by the previous senior design group (WAPA Wind Farm). Our second semester goal was to create a model of the proposed CSU wind farm in PSS/E and use it to model the system impact of the wind farm.
