This is the website for the senior engineering project of Matt Jibson, Dawn Dalangin and Dallin Kuzmich. Our faculty adviser is Dr. Bill Eads. In this project we are creating a electronically controlled pipe organ, augmented with synthesized (electronically generated) pipe sounds. Our project is unique in that we will not be using recorded sounds that are played. Instead, we will analyze recordings of the Colorado State University Casavant Organ and use MATLAB to create equations to synthesize the sound of various ranks.
