Dr. Puttlitz and his research team investigate the biomechanics of orthopaedic conditions, focusing on the function of the spine and the impact of diseases on the spine. By collaborating with other faculty in engineering and veterinary medicine, Dr. Puttlitz is developing an understanding of the biological responses to new treatments.
