Chemical Engineering was introduced as a program in 1977, and achieved the status of Department in 2000. Our highly respected Department currently has eight faculty members who provide students with the knowledge necessary to become practicing engineers. While offering an excellent program of studies the department maintains a high teacher to student ratio. This allows the personal attention that each chemical engineering student receives while attending Colorado State University.
