Aaron Ogorzalek, Civil Engineering graduate student, simulates EPA test mine sites to utilize soil parameters and climate data from the field as models and design tools for future mine waste site evapotransportive cover design. The opportunities to work in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, and develop one-on-one relationships with faculty members have made CSU a fun environment to work in.
