Misty Butler, Civil Engineering graduate student, plays an integral role in the design of a preliminary test facility for longitudinal barriers, offering a small-scale facility to test products before going to market. Misty highly values her adviser's open-door policy as well as the hands-on approach CSU has allowed her to take with her research.
