Visit the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department
Hang out for an afternoon. It's one thing for us to tell you about our Civil Engineering program. It's another to have a conversation with one of your future professors or take a student-guided tour of the department. A visit can give you a feel for the environment that a website or a phone call can never convey.
When To ComeMonday through Fridays during the academic year are great times to visit. We will even arrange for a tour over the weekend if that fits your schedule best, but be advised that we will not be able to arrange a meeting with a faculty member on a weekend. Just contact our office a week or more in advance of your visit so we can make arrangements and confirm your visit. Engineering Exploration Days are an annual event. During this program, high-school students and their parents can learn about engineering majors and careers, take tours of our labs, and ask questions of current students, faculty, and financial aid officers. For more information on Engineering Exploration Day, contact the College of Engineering at 970-491-6220.
