At Colorado State University, we have created the first School of Biomedical
Engineering in the state, offering students and industry the broadest range of
expertise and knowledge in this exciting area. An outstanding group of
faculty from four colleges and the Professional Veterinary Medicine program
are working collaboratively with students and surgeons on innovative projects
to benefit humans and animals.
CSU has a history of excellence in biomedical research and veterinary
medicine, which is one of the top ranked programs in the nation. Several new
faculty members recently joined our program, and searches are underway in
numerous engineering, science and other disciplines across campus. As of Fall 2007, two graduate degree programs have been added to the Master's of
Engineering degree to meet the demand of this rapidly growing profession. We
are proud to announce the state's first Ph.D. degree and a new Master of
Science degree in bioengineering. Read the full story.
We invite you to listen to our students as they talk about our academic and
research programs, and then schedule a visit to explore our university and see for yourself how the
School of Biomedical Engineering is becoming the leading program of its kind
in the state.
