CSU, NOAA Help Scientists See Earth at Night for First Time with Satellite

Researchers at the NOAA Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere at Colorado State University (CIRA) have advanced scientists' ability to see nighttime satellite images of Earth to a level of detail never before possible. For the first time, NASA, NOAA and CIRA scientists unveiled new nighttime lights capability of a NASA/NOAA satellite.

CSU Hurricane Forecast Team Reviews Influencing Factors for 2013 Atlantic Season

The Tropical Meteorology Project at Colorado State University recently released its initial outlook for the 2013 Atlantic basin hurricane season. The team will release the first forecast with predictions for the number of named storms, hurricanes and major hurricanes expected for the Atlantic basin in April.

Pulitzer Prize columnist, George F. Will to present Monfort Lecture

Ten days after the presidential inauguration, George F. Will, Pulitzer Prize winner and Washington Post columnist will speak at Colorado State University at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at Moby Arena.

The Spring Engineering and Technology Career Expo is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. The Career Expo is an excellent way to promote your company while you get acquainted with our students.
