Visit the College of Engineering
Whether you are a prospective student looking at engineering programs, an alumnus wanting to reconnect, or an engineer interested in our research, you are welcome to explore.
Prospective student visitors
If you are interested in learning more about a specific department or program, you may wish to contact that department or program directly to request a visit. We also offer visit programs:
- Engineering Exploration Day for future undergraduates
- Graduate Student Visit Day for future graduate students
- Although not a visit day, Engineering Days offers great opportunities to view undergraduate student work across the disciplines.
If you are interested in our undergraduate programs but are uncertain which area of engineering you will pursue, request a visit to the College by Calling the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Office at (970) 491-6220 or e-mailing ExploreEngineering@engr.colostate.edu. Student-guided tours of the College and the Academic Village are available. If you are interested in an advanced degree that spans multiple disciplines, e-mail gradvisit@engr.colostate.edu with information about your interests and potential visit dates. We will work with the engineering departments to create a productive visit for you.
Alumni visitors
We welcome alumni every day, not just for Homecoming and other scheduled events. We see our alums in the hallways on their way to recruit the next generation of engineers at our career fair, to make a presentations to classes, and to meet with their former faculty members. If you want to reconnect with the college with a visit to campus, contact supportengineering@colostate.edu.
Other visitors
We regularly host engineers and community members that are interested in the exciting work happening in the college. Many visitors are taking advantage of the new RamTracks Tours that feature many engineering laboratories and research groups. Many contact a specific department or program of interest.
