Travel Information
Colorado State University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, about 1 hour north of Denver. Denver International Airport (DIA) is served by most major airlines which provide nonstop daily service to more than 115 national and international destinations. Many national rental car companies offer service at DIA to Fort Collins from the main terminal.
Airport Shuttle Service
For shuttle service from Denver International Airport: http://www.rideshamrock.com
Note: The last shuttle from Denver International Airport to Fort Collins leaves the airport at 11:55 p.m. It is recommended that travelers with checked bags arrive early in order to board the shuttle on time. International travelers should allot an additional hour.
Driving Directions
From Denver International Airport to CSU?s Engineering Building and Lory Student Center:
- Exit DIA onto Pena Blvd (west)
- Proceed ~ 4 miles to the E-470 Tollway (north), exit 6B, towards Fort Collins/I-25
- Note: Toll charges are approximately $7.25 from Pena to I-25. If your vehicle does not have an Express Toll transponder, the Department of Transportation will send a bill to the registered owner of the car. Be sure to check with your rental car agency on their toll policies.
- Proceed 17.4 miles to I-25 (north), Exit #46
- Proceed ~41 miles to Exit #269 - Hwy 14/ Mulberry St. (west)
- Proceed west ~ 4 miles to Meldrum St.
- Turn left (south) at Meldrum St.
- Proceed two blocks, cross Laurel Street and enter the large parking lot. The Engineering Building is at the south end of the lot and the Lory Student Center is on the southwest corner of the lot.
- If you have received a parking permit prior to arriving, please hang it from your rearview mirror and park in one of the "A" parking spaces on the east side of the lot.
- If you do not yet have a permit, you may park in a numbered, meter space on the west side of the lot be sure to use the "Pay and Display" station to pay for your space until you can obtain a permit. Or, you may park in an "A" parking space, get a permit at the registration table, and return to your car with that permit. If you have received a ticket in that short window of time, please advise us so we can assist in getting the ticket excused.

Campus Parking
Zone "A" parking spaces are available in the lot north of CSU's Engineering building and Lory Student Center. This parking lot can be accessed by turning South on Meldrum Street from Laurel Street. Registered participants will receive a parking pass in the mail. If you do not receive a pass in advance, please come to the Visit Day check in table at Cherokee Park Ballroom in the Lory Student Center to pick one up. A parking pass is required if you park in the Engineering lot. If you receive a parking ticket while coming in the building to get your permit, please let us know so we can assist in getting that ticket excused.
