AIChE holds meetings approximately every two weeks, during which we bring in guest speakers and provide members with tools to develop their professional and networking skills.

Joining the AIChE is a great way to develop as professional engineer outside of the classroom – whether you’re looking to pursue a career in the private sector, or thinking of a graduate degree, AIChE presents opportunities to develop leadership skills, communication, learn more about the industry, present at national conferences, and contribute to the profession by volunteering in community outreach events. It’s a great way to stand out in a competitive profession.

And of course, we try to have some fun. Each semester, we hold a brewery or distillery tour, and additionally there are national and regional events to participate in.
