Residential Life
The University residence hall system offers many services
and programs for students living on campus. Housing
and Food Services provides many dining and
housing options on campus.
Freshmen have the option of choosing from several residence
halls. If you’re interested in living in a residence hall
where many other engineering students reside, you
will want to consider Allison
Hall,
located near the Engineering College. The Engineering
College offers programs specifically for engineering
students including free tutoring four nights per
week, faculty and student activities, and a computer
laboratory that connnects to the main engineering
network. Also, many of the resident assistants
in Allison Hall are engineering students who mentor
and support first-year engineering students in their
transition to college.

Artist's rendition of the new Academic Village
A new Academic Village, located on the southwest side of campus, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007. The village facilities will include new laboratories and classrooms, faculty offices, and a dining center. College of Engineering programs will be moved from Allison Hall to the New Academic Village in fall 2007.
