Services We Provide
We are here to help students to be successful in the College of Engineering.
Tutoring
Tutoring services are provided for students to promote their academic success. Small group tutoring services are provided for engineering courses. Other tutoring resources are provided by the College of Engineering in math and engineering at Allison Hall on Monday through Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Also, the College of Natural Science provides tutors for math, chemistry, and physics in Ingersoll Hall from 5:00 to 10:00 PM on Sunday through Thursday (Subject List).
Advising
Academic guidance, information on career opportunities, and academic resoursces are provided through one-on-one interaction between WMEP staff & students.
Computer Lab
Computers are available for students to use during normal business hours and evenings upon request. The computer center has seven HP computers linked to the internet and loaded with standard COE software.
Study Center
A space within the WMEP office is set up for study sessions and student
group meetings. The Study Center has reference materials, textbooks,
course files with sample exercises and tests, a dry-erase board, and
calculators that may be checked out daily.
Scholarship Information
A broad list of potential scholarships available to engineering students is housed in the WMEP office. Many lucrative scholarships exist that are not widely publicized. Our intent is to minimize the student's scholarship search time by providing an updated, easily accessible database.
