Learning Assistance Center
Operated by the University Counseling Center, the Learning Assistance Center is designed to help struggling students get through college with fewer headaches and frustrations. If you are having academic difficulties, are not earning the grades you think you deserve, have been put on academic probation, or feel that you may have a learning disability, you should call or stop by the Learning Assistance Center.
Academic Advancement Center
The Academic Advancement Center (AAC) is for eligible students who are committed to graduating with their bachelor's degree. AAC provides many student services to ensure college success, such as: free tutoring, goal setting and academic improvement strategizing, learning skills improvement, and assistance to prepare for graduate school, to name a few.
Counseling Center
The Center strives to develop and offer services designed to assist students to acquire those skills, attitudes, and resources necessary to both succeed in the college environment and to pursue productive and satisfying lives. The Center's goal is to contribute to the overall educational mission of the University by facilitating the academic, emotional, social, and career development of students.
Center for Advising and Student Achievement
Academic advising for studentsThe center provides academic advising for students planning on pursueing
a career in a health-related profession or biomedical sciences, as well
as Open Option students who are exploring majors . Some of these students
seek admission into a controlled major (additional admission requirements).
It is possible to take courses without formal admission to Colorado
State, and we also advise these Guest Students. Assistance is also available
for students who would like to promote their academic success, as well
as for students who are considering a university withdrawal.
Student achievement programs begin with Orientation (Preview, NextStep,
Ram Fest, Fall and Spring Orientation).
Other services include Early Warning communication with students, the
Key Academic Community residential and course cluster opportunity, support
for students with First Generation and Governor's Opportunity Scholarships
, and co-curricular/research experiences.
TRIO programs

The CEAO office seeks "to make education accessible to all persons and groups" by developing the talents of ethnically diverse, first generation (neither parent has earned a bachelor's degree), or limited income individuals from ages 11 (6th grade) to adulthood. Programs available are Upward Bound (10th grade to 12th grade), Educational Talent Search (6th grade to 12th grade), and Educational Opportunity Center (adults and college students).
