The School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) Advisory Board was formed to enhance the academic and research efforts of the school and the student experience by:
- Advising the school on program and curriculum matters to stay current with industry advancements.
- Fostering communication and opportunities for interaction between students, faculty, and industry (internships, projects, research).
- Increasing hands-on experiences for students to enable them to make more informed decisions and have increased post-graduate opportunities.
- Advocating for SBME in research, industry, and the community to foster image and increase opportunities.
