Forwarding Your Email

As a Colorado State University student, faculty or staff you automatically have an email address through ACNS (<your first name>.<your lastname>@colostate.edu).

CSU undergraduate students also have a Google Apps for CSU email address (<your eName>@rams.colostate.edu).

As a student, faculty or staff of the Engineering College you automatically have another email address (<your Engineering username>@engr.colostate.edu). You may also have additional email addresses through other online services like Google, Hotmail, AOL, Apple, etc.

How do you consolidate these email addresses? By setting up an automatic forwarding command from one email address to another. This way you will only need to check one email address for all of your email. We suggest that you have the email addresses that you do not use automatically forward to the one that you do use.

• I use my Engineering email account and wish to set up automatic forwarding from other CSU accounts to this one. Forward to Engineering.
• I use my Google Apps for CSU email account and wish to set up automatic forwarding from other CSU accounts to this one. Forward to Google Apps.
• I use my CSU Exchange email account and wish to set up automatic forwarding from other CSU accounts to this one. Forward to CSU Exchange.
• I use a non-CSU email account and wish to set up automatic forwarding from all my CSU accounts to this one. Forward to non-CSU email.
