Connecting to Network Resources

There are a number of methods to connect to the Engineering network, which will include access to the network drives (T:, U:, etc.). It's best to follow these steps in order.

Step 1: Connect to the Network

Depending on where your computer is located, please follow one of the below steps

• On-Campus Direct (Wired) LAN connection from a CSU non-dorm building
• On-Campus Wireless connection
• CSU Residence Halls or other CSU Housing
• Home or Other Off-Campus Location

Step 2: Create a Secure Connection with VPN

• VPN for Windows
• VPN for Macintosh
• VPN for Linux

Step 3: Using Network Resources

• Map or Mount Network Drives (S:, T:, U:, and V:)
• Connect to a Remote Server
• Virtual Computer Lab
