CASC2D-SED TEMPLATE AND ADD-IN

Installation Instructions

CASC2Dsetup.XLT

Saving location:

1.        …\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Spreadsheet Solutions

To Open the template in this folder: In EXCEL click on File à New.  In the Spreadsheet Solutions tab, click on CASC2DSED.XLT

2.        or in any other folder.  Just remember where you saved the template !

 This workbook was last saved in the MS EXCEL XP version. 

This workbook or the VBA code are not protected.  Data should be entered in blank cells only.  Do not insert new cells or move its position in the worksheet since this will affect how the input files are written.

CASC2Dsetup.XLA:

 1.        Loading the add-in manually:

Save the CASC2DSED.XLA in :

…\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Library

To Load the Add-in:  In EXCEL click on Tools à Add-ins …  In the Add-ins window, browse to the add-in location and select CASC2DSED.XLA.  Click the OK button.   The CASC2D menu item should be displayed,  indicating that the add-in file was loaded.

Clear the check mark in the add-ins list before you exit Excel if you do not want the CASC2D add-in to load automatically next time you start Excel.

2.        Loading the add-in automatically:

Save the CASC2DSED.XLA in :

…\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart

        The CASC2D add-in will be loaded every time you start Excel.
